Points are awarded at the matches during the year, as follows:

For entry	1 point	Best Puppy	2 points
Each round won	1 point	Best Veteran	2 points
Best of the Rest	2 points	Reserve best in match	3 points
		Best in match	5 points

The dog with the highest number of points accrued over the year will receive the "Dog of the Year" Trophy.
